The Internationaal Poppentheater Festival, Holland
As an old friend and admirer of the art of puppetry, I attended The Internationaal Poppentheater Festival in Holland and saw the play EASTENDA; actually this was not so much a play as a documentary performance with a carefully edited soundscape.
A radio play with images of great quality, strong, simple but meaningful. Far away from false sentimentality, talking about loss and grief. I am very happy that I saw this masterpiece.
